Spells R Us: Vindem Vrăji continues down a dark path, as the townsfolk seek vengeance against the vampires. In a bait-and-switch themed story, xCuervos takes a haughty Countess and relegates her to set decoration. While her characterization is limited, her fate is satisfyingly twisted. The villagers suffer a similarly erotic fate in a crowd scene full of expanding girls. The atmosphere continues to drip with spookiness, and the real star of this story is the mood. This issue manages to be dark, silly, and sexy all at the same time. A somewhat nihilistic ending reminds the reader that summoning otherworldly beings is a hazardous business, and can have far-reaching consequences.
